The ER RN, Registered Nurse is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who delivers care to the patient through utilization of the nursing process, which includes but is not limited to assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
The ER RN, Registered Nurse provides quality patient care in accordance with our policies and procedures and established patient care standards and practice.
v Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
v Required: Current professional nursing license to practice as a RN, Registered Nurse
v Required: Two years current experience in ER
v Required: Current professional nursing license to practice as a RN, Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico
v Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
v Required: Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)—if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete course within 3 months from date of hire
A minimum of an Associates Degree is required. A Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree is always preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital. Additionally, we offer:
Sign-on Bonus - $10,000 (2 yr commitment), $15,000 (3 yr commitment) (4 yr commitment) $20,000
Domicile Bonus - $2,500 paid on first pay check (to use towards securing a home)
Retention bonus - $1,000 payable semi-annually (paid after the sign-on bonus payout)
Referral Bonus - $2,000 to $5,000 paid for referring nurses with two to five years' experience
Tuition Assistance – up to $2,500 per year toward an approved degree
Relocation Assistance – up to $5,000 (reimbursement)
Pay Differentials – available for evening ($3.00/hr) and weekend shifts ($2.50/hr)
Gems Program – a program that pays up to $4k a year for "going above and beyond"
Interview Expenses – paid for by the facility
